The Country Manager will be responsible for the research, writing/report production and forecasting for 3-4 Market Prognosis countries. The
country manager will also manage junior analysts in the team as well as contribute to other MP deliverables like Market Prognosis Global,
Regional Overviews.
Expectations:
1. Deliver high quality forecasts and reports for assigned countries on scheduled timelines.
2. Ensure work is delivered within budget. Support internalization process, ensuring internal report writing is successfully adopted.
3. Be able to defend and justify analysis and forecasts presented, based on research conducted and expertise established, particularly,
forecasts, key issues, change in prognosis, events.
4. Collaborate closely with onshore and GOC colleagues to ensure consistent and latest models are employed.
5. Build effective relationships with local offices to support primary market research and validation of forecasts and reports.
6. Create documentation (SOPs, Checklists) for projects
7. Consistently deliver high quality output.
8. Support further development in achieving synergies between the various forecasting services.
Education:
1. Graduation in Life Sciences/Pharma related subject + Master’s Degree or MBA.
2. For candidates with 6+ years of experience, a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma is not essential.
Experience:
1. 4-8 years of experience in pharmaceuticals analytics/with a minimum of 2-3 years of forecasting experience.
2. Demonstrated experience of independently handling projects, handling client engagements, working on short- and long-term deadlines,
and robust project management
3. Working knowledge of VBA, ForecastPro will be an added advantage
Skills:
1. Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
2. Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills and excellent reading comprehension skills
3. Project management with the ability to perform under pressure
4. Should possess working knowledge of the pharma industry
5. Good secondary research skills
