The Senior Infrastructure Specialist is accountable for leading secure hosting initiatives globally.  A strong candidate will have excellent technical infrastructure skills. This role requires deep technical infrastructure expertise and the ability to influence cross-functional teams including IT, Facilities, Accounting, and HR. The incumbent will serve as a strategic advisor and mentor, driving innovation and continuous improvement across infrastructure domains.

As a member of the Danaher Global Infrastructure team, the Specialist will lead cross-regional efforts to enhance network and system performance. They will champion Danaher Hosting standards and proactively resolve escalated technical issues, contributing to enterprise-wide infrastructure strategy.

This position reports to the Director, Network Engineering and is part of the Danaher Global Infrastructure Network Team working remotely to cover all regions.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Deploy and maintain datacenter and hosting infrastructure for Danaher.Maintain accurate system documentation.Research and recommend improvements to the production systems.Provide tier 3 escalation for troubleshooting complex hosting issues.Participate in tier 3 ‘on call’ rotations with other infrastructure team.

The essential requirements of the job include:

10 years experience with VMWare.5 years experience with datacenter infrastructure (pdus, environmental monitoring).3 years experience with Cohesity DataProtect.3 years experience with Purestorage Flash Arrays.3 years experience with Infoblox.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Frequent work outside of typical shift hours.Up to 30% domestic and international travel depending on projects. (typical 10%)Able to work in datacenters or small computer rooms.Able to lift 50lbs/23kg unassisted.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Cisco UCS.Cloud Infrastructure. Nutanix.Scripting with Python or Ansible.
