**Introduction**
We are looking for a seasoned Enterprise System Architect with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in system architecture, design, and planning, with a deep familiarity with IT solutions including server, storage, networking, and software. This role requires extensive experience in both cloud and data center environments, with the ability to design, integrate, and manage complex cloud and on-premises infrastructures. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential for effectively conveying architectural solutions to clients, vendors, and internal teams.
**Your role and responsibilities**
* Design and plan comprehensive system architectures for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, focusing on scalability, security, and reliability.
* Design enterprise solutions using IBM hardware and software to meet diverse business and technical needs.
* Lead the development of new IT offerings, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices.
* Architect, implement, and manage cloud-based systems to support enterprise workloads, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.
* Conduct cloud readiness assessments and create migration plans for legacy systems to cloud environments.
* Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored system architecture solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on system architecture and emerging technologies.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* 20+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on system architecture, design, and implementation.
* Proficiency in designing cloud architectures, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address complex architectural challenges
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Significant experience in client-facing roles, particularly in complex enterprise environments.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Demonstrated track record of success in providing technical support, emphasizing a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Coordination Skills: Strong coordination skills, particularly in managing hardware and software support for seamless customer experiences.
* Exceptional Operational Service Delivery: Exceptional expertise in delivering operational services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
