Senior Informaticist

 The Senior Informaticist coordinates with other analytics, IT and business areas across the organization to ensure work is completed with insights from knowledge SMEs. The Senior Informaticist work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Informaticist-Pharmacy Data Analytics will be responsible for supporting Patient Safety analytics on the Medicare population.  Duties will include reviewing technical specifications from multiple agencies including CMS, PQA, HEDIS and NCQA.  Applying those technical specifications to transactional claims to generate member level reporting for business owners. Developing study design for campaigns and managing campaign build and outcomes.  Delivering ad hoc and standard reporting for senior level leadership. Generating deep dive information to create strategy for influencing members and providers.  

The Senior Informaticist leverages its advanced knowledge of data, modeling, optimization, and tools. Applies disciplined analytics to predict behavior and optimize programs and products to maximize revenue growth. Utilizes advanced or predictive modeling to develop, test and validate cases that improve the outcomes and quality of the programs we offer. Understands and analyzes complex data, articulates to various units within the company at the appropriate level, impacts the business from mathematical concepts which have a potentially sizeable dollar impact on the business. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare, Informatics, Computer Science or related field

5 or more years of data analytics experience

Experience with reporting (from dealing with large data sets to report production)

Experience with data mining, predictive modeling techniques and using data to drive business outcomes and decisions

Technical proficiency in coding and data visualization tools preferably in such as SAS, Python, PowerBI or similar tools

Excellent verbal and written communication

Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information and present findings and insights to non-technical professionals and senior leadership

Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree 

Experience in PQA/NCQA measure analytics

Knowledge of or experience in CMS Stars and/or MTM analytics

Experience with reporting (from dealing with large data sets to report production)

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$97,900 - $133,500 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
