Just look up. **Are you ready to go beyond?** **What You Will Do:** **Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines, Aftermarket Operations (AMO)** is seeking a motivated, technically proficient, and self-driven individual to join our team as a **Senior Industrialization Lead** **(P** **5).** This role involves leading overhaul readiness efforts, as well as the development and implementation of new engine center partners (DATs) in the APAC region to support the Commercial Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) Engine Program. As the DAT Industrial Lead for the region, you will be responsible for overseeing and advancing New DAT readiness through a defined gated "passport" process, expediting their understanding of shop, business, and technical processes, and serving as the on-site liaison between new DATs and Pratt & Whitney support teams. This position is based in Taiwan at China Airlines (CAL) for a two-year assignment. Additionally, the role requires providing in-person support to other GTF DATs in the APAC region, entailing up to 30% travel within the assigned territory. **Key Responsibilities:** + Execute Industrialization playbook at respective DAT’s + Lead “passport” process, evaluate (e.g., KPIs, validation checks) and drive readiness outcomes, assess risks and establish mitigations + Align on and assess progress of Production Plan(s) for initial production engines + Identify risks (proactively) and blockers (as they occur); develop, drive action plan closure within new DAT’s and/or PW + Provide or coordinate PW engagement with DATs (e.g. on-site technical, business, and operational training/support) + Document, feed lessons learned and best practices to New DAT Planning Lead to evolve Industrialization playbook + Engage with, influence, and communicate to internal/external senior leaders regarding DAT performance, including proposed solutions or help needed + Document lessons learned and best practices during shop trainings and operations; working with Process Control & Improvement Engineers to evolve the new DAT training curriculum and/or influence Engine Manual updates to memorialize learnings and improve effectivity and efficiency of new DAT on-boarding and operations + Provide and/or coordinate on-site training for Service Bulletins, Engineering Changes, and new work scopes to support site qualification and readiness + Provide and/or coordinate regional leadership and support for network-wide technical investigations and root cause/corrective actions + Demonstrate a high level of proficiency and working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies + Travel required: up to 30% **What You Will Learn:** + GTF Aftermarket operations – GTF engine disassembly/assembly/test processes, and network-wide technical / tooling challenges and optimization opportunities that impact engine overhaul and output + External (“customer” / partner / supplier) focus – direct interaction with leadership and teams across 3rd party/airline DATs + P&W Matrix management – interaction with leadership and teams across various commercial, operations, and engineering organizations **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering and/or Technical role within a Aftermarket MRO or Aerospace Manufacturing environment; **OR** Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience. + Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese + Must have a valid US Passport + Must be capable of obtaining the travel visas required to support travel within the assigned territory (Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, European Union, and United States) + Must be able to work abroad at the assigned site in Taiwan for a period of 2 years **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Degree in STEM field; Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering fields preferred. + Advanced experience working in Repair Station MRO environment, particularly in turbine engine Disassembly, Assembly and Test (DAT) environment. + Strong technical and functional knowledge of turbine engines and/or Pratt & Whitney products. + Experience leading a global team and managing projects across time zones + Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and influence leadership, peers, and cross-functional teams + Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma). **What is my Role Type?** In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
