The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in El Segundo, CA.
This position will be supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and will be responsible for supporting the Communications Security (COMSEC) efforts in Southern California.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions
Perform installation of secure telephone equipment (STE) and coordinate to deliver encryption device(s) and keying material to select Information Technology (IT) specialist maintaining classified networks
Maintain records and accountability of COMSEC materials site wide
Ensure COMSEC materials are properly received, hand-receipted and transferred
Acquire and issue materials to program personnel
Conduct inventories per agency policy and report any discrepancy to government customer
Courier classified information and authors receipt for classified materials
Enforce compliance with United States Government (USG) COMSEC standards by team members by providing security education and training on operating procedures
Ensure Automated Information Systems Security requirements, related to COMSEC duties, are in compliance
Train personnel in COMSEC procedures and the use of related equipment
Work in an open production environment, using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and requiring the use of basic tools, and observing production facility requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
5+ years of experience working with Communications Security (COMSEC) in one or a combination of the following domains: National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
5+ years of experience in Industrial Security
5+ years of experience working with COMSEC accountability software
Current COMSEC training certificate
Experience training peers in the use of COMSEC equipment and procedures
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
KMI Schoolhouse training completion certificate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
5+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers
5+ years of experience as a primary COMSEC Custodian
Experience troubleshooting COMSEC equipment
