Position Summary
Seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to join our dedicated occupational health and safety team at one of the most cutting-edge semiconductor facilities in the United States. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of hazardous conditions, and the ability to drive initiatives that mitigate risks effectively. This role will serve as the primary occupational health resource for a site Construction program and will be responsible for the implementation of the industrial hygiene program at this facility.Role and Responsibilities
Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Design and execute industrial hygiene work plans, setting a proactive standard for health and safety management.Develop and administer comprehensive health and industrial hygiene programs that align with industry best practices.Ability to anticipate, recognize, analyze, and assess potential occupational health risks, ensuring timely interventions.Develop and implement control measures to eliminate or reduce identified risks through a variety of health hazard assessments.Lead qualitative exposure risk assessment reviews and processes, driving a preventative and evaluative approach to exposure assessment.Measure, audit, and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented hazard control elements, maintaining robust tracking and accountability.Ability to collect and analyze data using industrial hygiene equipment.Ability to understand and effectively communicate complex data, reports, and other investigative findings to diverse groups of stakeholders with varying levels of health and safety knowledge.Provide training and educational resources for industrial hygiene programs.Ensure regulatory compliance and provide internal audits and evaluations of our IH programs and policies, uphold safety procedures and all related federal and state guidelines.Manage project work scopes and plans independently to influence the workplace landscape effectively.Excellent leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively within a team setting.Shift: 1st
Skills and Qualifications
Here’s What You’ll Bring to Samsung:
Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in chemistry, engineering, industrial hygiene, safety, or closely related discipline.At least 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing industrial hygiene programs required.Strong focus on customer service. Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) required.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.Familiarity with OSHA Regulatory and Reporting Guidelines.Work experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred but not required.#LI-NF1
The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
