Senior Industrial Designer
Our consumer electronic client is seeking two Senior Industrial Designers to join their team. This team has a roadmap for NPI and existing product enhancements over the next year. This role includes participating in weekly early-morning or late-evening online meetings to sync up with design teams, as well as undertaking one to two international trips annually, as needed, to collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
-End-to-End Design Development - Lead all stages of industrial design development, from concept to mass production. Deliver high-quality 2D concepts, quick prototypes, CMF specifications, technical graphics, advanced 3D models with class-A surfacing, and photo-realistic renderings for presentations.
-Design Language & Strategy - Take a leadership role in implementing Rings design language and future design strategy, ensuring consistency and innovation across hardware products.
-CMF Integration - Work closely with the CMF design team to deliver a unified vision for color, materials, and finish design.
-Engineering Collaboration - Partner with engineers and suppliers to achieve optimal production quality, balancing craftsmanship, cost, and engineering constraints.
-Mechanical Integration & Prototyping - Support engineering teams with mechanical integration, DFM & DFA, and rapid prototyping, ranging from broad design themes to functional-level execution.
-Global Coordination - Sync with designers, engineers, and program managers across different time zones, participating in weekly early morning or late evening online meetings, 12 international trips annually.
