Job Description
In this Engineer 4 role, you will have exposure to the entire IT ecosystem supporting our new Comcast Business Public Sector Line of Business (LOB) and ensuring this ecosystem is secure, reliable, resilient, and supports efficient business processes with purpose-built customer centric applications. You will be part of the IT team that will set the IT vision and roadmap for the greenfield eco-system and determine how we work to effectively architect, develop, deploy and support the Public Sector IT applications and Infrastructure.
As an Engineer 4 of Software Development and Engineering in the Comcast Business Public Sector IT team, you will be responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.
