Senior Human Resources Consultant (Contract)
About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. This role will support strategic HR initiatives, organizational planning, compliance, and talent management. The ideal candidate brings a depth of experience in both operational and strategic HR leadership, particularly in dynamic, growing organizations. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as a strategic HR advisor to leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and employee relations + Lead and execute HR initiatives such as policy development, performance management, and DEI programming + Review and refine HR policies, procedures, and compliance processes + Support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts for key roles + Advise on compensation, benefits, and retention strategies + Provide coaching to managers on best practices in leadership and people development + Manage sensitive employee relations cases with professionalism and discretion Contract Details: + Estimated duration: 6 to 12 months, with possibility of extension + Competitive hourly or project-based compensation + Flexible working arrangements (remote with occasional on-site meetings if applicable) Requirements Qualifications: + 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership capacity + Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance + Demonstrated success in both strategic HR planning and hands-on execution + Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and consulting skills + Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments is a plus + SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
