đź’ŠNovant Health is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner with a strong clinical background providing direct, hands-on patient care, paired with proven operational leadership in a healthcare setting. Candidates with prior HR experience or have carried significant HR responsibilities as part of their leadership role would be preferable.
The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) is a highly strategic advisor and trusted consultant to senior leaders across the organization. In this role, you will leverage deep business insight and advanced HR expertise to shape people strategies that accelerate performance, strengthen culture, and enable long-term organizational success.
As a key partner you will influence and guide decisions that impact team member engagement, retention, organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership effectiveness. You will help create an environment where all team members can thrive—driving a culture rooted in inclusion, belonging, and high performance.
This role also serves as a peer coach and mentor to other HR Business Partners, helping elevate the HRBP function, strengthen service delivery, and promote best-in-class practices across the broader team.
📍Considering candidates located in the Charlotte or Winston-Salem, NC areas.
This is a Hybrid Position. Will travel regularly to various Novant Health Facilities.
What You'll Do
+ L eads special projects
+ Acts a change agent, seeking to develop integrative solutions and formulating partnership across the Novant Health to deliver value added service.
+ Analyzes and interprets workforce data to identify trends, generates insights, and recommends strategic actions in partnership with leaders and HR Centers of Excellence.
+ Understands and provides expert consultation on the business and business strategy. Speaks to the data and metrics and understands related financials.
+ Participates in meetings as an extension of the department’s leadership team
What We're Looking For
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field, required. Graduate Degree, strongly preferred.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of seven years of Human Resources or related experience, required.
+ Three years experience with executive level consultation across multiple human capital domains to include organizational design and optimization, team member engagement, retention strategies, and performance management, required.
+ Three years experience in managing and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives. Experience in providing consultative services, preferred.
+ Three years health care or related field experience. Merger and Acquisition experience, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: PHR, SPHR, or other Human Resources Certifications, preferred.

+ Digital Fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint. Strong Excel skills required.
