Supported by the Human Resources Manager, this role develops and implements initiatives that improve engagement, communication and business results. Responsibilities Provide generalist Human Resources support, advice and coaching to Regency Park and Obela Cavan employees, frontline managers and managers. Support the Human Resources Manager in providing a consultancy and advisory service to management and staff on human resource management issues including the interpretation of relevant Acts, Regulations, Awards, industrial Agreements, legislation, policy and procedures relevant to HR and the provision of advice on contemporary HR practices. Support the Human Resources Manager in the design, development and execution of key Human Resources initiatives that focus on building site capability, improving engagement levels and people management. Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices which provide an effective, consistent and timely delivery of HR services to the business and support organisational needs. Manage and execute day to day Human Resource activities such as counselling and grievances, recruitment, organisational development, other policies and procedures. Provide operational human resource information and analysis relating to workforce profiles and trends, benchmarking data and analysis advice. At the direction of the HR Manager research and prepare briefs, submissions and correspondence on human resource operations issues and liaise with external agencies as required. Demonstrate and exercise a commitment to promote, develop and improve the health, safety and welfare of our people. Carry out any other reasonable and lawful directions that may be given from time to time by the company. Lead and execute key internal change and restructure projects and support overall business transformation initiatives. Qualifications About You: HR generalist management experience within operational environments. Strong coaching and business partnering skills. Strong facilitation and communication skills. Ability to connect and engage with people at all levels of the organisation. Ability to influence individuals and teams across the customer base. Ability to inject passion and energy into tasks and projects while motivating others to do the same. Ability to inspire in others a sense of trust and confidence in the advice provided and ability to deliver quality outcomes. Provide sound judgement both on day-to-day and long-term issues that balances the needs of both the business and industrial requirements. Strong organisation and project management skills to deliver quality work within a fast-paced environment. Solid experience in managing grievances, disciplinary and counselling situations. Detailed understanding and demonstrated ability of applicable legislation. Tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline.
