Senior HSE Advisor
Location: Williston, ND (Primary) | Vernal, UT & Longmont, CO (Additional Coverage)
Travel: Up to 50%, including overnight travel
We are seeking a Senior HSE Professional to support our operations across North Dakota, Utah, and Colorado. Candidates located near Vernal, UT or Longmont, CO are encouraged to apply. This role is key to maintaining high safety standards, regulatory compliance, and a proactive safety culture across multiple field locations in the Oil & Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Ensure compliance with Weatherford’s OEPS Management System and applicable HSE regulations.
+ Lead and support internal/external audits, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.
+ Conduct field inspections, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
+ Monitor training records, hazardous substance handling, and PPE compliance.
+ Advise on safe work procedures, hierarchy of controls, and corrective actions.
+ Maintain accurate incident records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
+ 5–7 years of recent HSE leadership experience in Oil & Gas (e.g., HSE Supervisor or Lead).
+ Recognized certifications (CRSP, CSP, CHSC) preferred.
+ Experience with 5S/Lean principles and USDOT regulations for commercial vehicles.
+ Strong understanding of federal, state, and local HSE regulations.

+ Risk Management: Skilled in hazard identification, formal risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
+ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
+ Training & Development: Ability to design and deliver effective safety training programs.
+ Incident Investigation: Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
+ Emergency Preparedness: Knowledge of emergency response protocols and drill execution.
+ Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using HSE software tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Leadership: Ability to influence safety culture and lead cross-functional safety initiatives.
+ Analytical Thinking: Capable of interpreting safety data and identifying trends for improvement.
+ Attention to Detail: Ensures thorough documentation and compliance with safety standards.
+ Interpersonal Skills: Personable, self-motivated, and collaborative with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Continuous Improvement: Committed to staying current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
