Functional Senior HRBP (Global Payroll)
Serve as strategic advisor and partner with senior leadership teams of Global Payroll organization, supporting leaders and employees distributed across international GP locations.
This role demands a deep understanding of business dynamics, cultural and regional labor law nuances, to drive organizational effectiveness and talent optimization in an international environment while ensuring local adaptation and global consistency.
The role partners with functional leaders to align people strategies with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance and inclusivity across geographies. This role requires thriving in ambiguity, leveraging data insights, and championing employee experience on a global/ regional scale.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensures a high level of organizational effectiveness through ongoing strength based associate development, organizational design, analysis and change management, talent assessments, leadership development and succession planning.
- Be the agent of our ADP culture within the function, translating company values into local actions and practices that enhance employee experience across geographies.
- Partners with business leaders and finance partners to architect and drive workforce planning processes for the global function, anticipating future talent needs based on business and location strategy, market and function dynamics.
- Develops and executes people strategies that support the growth and transformation of the organization.
- Leads and coordinates key HR initiatives for the Global Payroll organization and facilitates the roll-out of ESI-wide/Global HR programs and processes within the organization.
- Oversees and analyzes compensation decisions ensuring equity and compliance with country practices and regulations. Manages and monitors the compensation spent across functions / regions to ensure compliance with ADP ESI guidelines.
- Builds strong partnerships with ESI HR CoE and the broader HR organization (GP and Country HR teams) to deliver seamless HR support to the organization
- Partners with Key stakeholders and manages complex and sensitive multi-jurisdictional employee relations cases. Providing expert guidance to managers while ensuring strict adherence to local labor laws and ADP policies and practices.
- Leverage HR metrics and advanced analytics to provide data driven insights to leadership, identifying key trends and influencing strategic decision-making. Presents actionable insights to leadership to drive continuous improvement
- Champions best practice sharing and continuous improvement across HR GP organization.
Critical Success factors, skills and experience:
• Proven HR experience supporting global or multi-country teams, preferably in a matrixed organization, handling functional scopes
• Strong understanding of global HR practices and employment laws nuances.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Consulting, coaching skills – ability to challenge and advise senior leaders with data and business acumen
• Fluency in HR technology and analytical skills to interpret data and tell a compelling story
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to work effectively in diverse environments.
• Strong understanding of business models, financial principles, and market dynamics to influence strategic decisions.
• Problem-Solving skills, resilience in ambiguity, and ability to manage complex, sensitive issues with integrity and empathy.
