Senior HR Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to support People Managers across all MMC businesses in the Pacific Region.
Senior HR Managers coach, support and advise People Managers, aiming to develop and enhance the quality of people management throughout the colleague lifecycle, and therefore have a direct and positive impact on the quality of the colleague experience across Marsh McLennan.
We will count on you to:
Advise and coach People Managers without oversight in most situations across the full range of activities in the HR portfolio including:
Employee relations matters including investigations, performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, grievances, appeals, etc., engaging with ER for advice on more complex issuesPerformance management including supporting implementation of colleague training or mentoring programs and monitor compliance where requiredCommunications, change management and organizational effectivenessWellbeing and injury management,Leave, absence and related topics including coordinating with relevant teams for return-to-work accommodations and logisticsRollout and delivery of HR programs in-region and contribute to process improvementsWhat you need to have:
Confidence and experience to operate without regular supervision across the full breadth of HR activity taking the initiative to bring in specialist colleagues/experts as requiredExperience in supporting managers with complex employee relations case management including investigations and administration of hearingsDemonstrated ability to coach People Managers at every level in the business including senior executives effectively through all aspects of the employee life cycle with varying complexityAbility to identify opportunities to make improvements to the service provided by People Services, and experienced in leading work to define and implement changes that will deliver a better service to People ManagersWhat makes you stand out:
