Volt is immediately hiring for a Senior HR Generalist in Gardena, CA

As a Senior HR Generalist, you will:

Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions Partner with site leadership on performance management and coaching Develop and maintain HR dashboards and analytics to inform data-driven decisions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies Coordinate onboarding, training, and organizational development initiatives Manage benefits administration and serve as point of contact for complex benefits issues Administer leave programs including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and personal leaves Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance across multiple sites Drive employee engagement activities and support wellness and DEI efforts Support staffing initiatives, working with hiring managers and external agencies Travel occasionally (under 25%) to other sites in Torrance and Long Beach

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity with long-term growth potential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred) 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and investigations Solid understanding of HR laws, benefits, and compliance (California-specific experience a plus) Proficiency in HRIS systems such as ADP and Excel-based reporting tools Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support a multi-site environment Must be able to work onsite in Gardena and meet ITAR compliance (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (8:00AM – 5:00PM)

Pay Range: $80,000 – $85,000 per year

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
