Senior HR Business Partner (Maternity Leave Cover)

We are seeking an experienced and strategic **HR Business Partner** to join our Human Resources & Operations team in GM Israel for a **temporary maternity leave cover** . As an HRBP, you will partner closely with leaders and employees across the organization to drive key HR initiatives, support organizational development, and foster a high-performance culture. You will be responsible for delivering HR solutions that align with business goals, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and global policies. **What will YOU do?** + Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic HR guidance and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. + Lead and support organizational change initiatives, workforce planning, and talent management strategies. + Drive employee engagement, performance management, and development programs in alignment with global HR practices. + Collaborate with global Centers of Expertise (COEs) on compensation, talent acquisition, learning & development, and employee relations. + Provide guidance on local labor law compliance and manage employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion. + Support organizational design, job architecture, and transformation efforts. + Utilize **Workday** to manage HR processes and data effectively. + Contribute to maintaining a strong, inclusive, and motivating workplace culture. **Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)** + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree – an advantage). + Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a global organization, preferably within an American corporate environment. + Deep understanding of organizational development, talent management, and HR operations. + Strong knowledge of Israeli labor laws and HR best practices. + Hands-on experience with Workday platform. + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. + Ability to work independently, manage complexity, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment. + Fluent in English and Hebrew. **About GM** Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all. **Why Join Us** We believe we all must make a choice every day – individually and collectively – to drive meaningful change through our words, our deeds and our culture.
