Job purpose: 

As a HR Business Partner for the Plant in Lelystad at McCain, you will play a critical role in driving the company's HR initiatives and supporting the business units.  

Developing a multi-year plan for HR within the plant, in line with the plant's strategy and the HR strategy for CE. Achieving the HR plan's objectives regarding the qualitative and quantitative staffing of the plant in the short and long term. 

You are a member of the Plant Leadership team (PLT) will report to HR Director CE, Manufacturing & Agriculture and the Plant Manager Lelystad. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

Act as a strategic HR business partner to operational leaders, developing a multi-year HR plan aligned with the plant and regional HR strategy of McCain.Contribute to the direction of the plant strategy as a member of the Plant Leadership Team (PLT), with a focus on HR-related topics.Lead and collaborate with a local HR Specialist and the Employee Experience Center to ensure accurate HR administration, reporting, and compliance with laws and regulations.Ensure all HR processes comply with relevant labor laws and regulations.Collaborate with Centers of Expertise to define and implement forward-thinking HR strategies and solutions to meet business environment and functional needs (Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Diversity Equity & Inclusion).Partner with Total Rewards team to implement competitive compensation, benefits, reward and recognition programs. Make recommendations to ensure alignment between people management and compensation practices (job evaluation, salary administration, compensation design and performance management) within business strategy. Drive a culture of performance, results, and positive employee relations, coaching leaders on talent management, and performance differentiation. Partner with Learning & Development and the business to define training and development needs based on organizational and personal development plans.  Advise local management on organizational design and structure, appropriate within the McCain CE strategy, and guide the processes of change to achieve an efficient and effective organizational structure. Develop recruitment strategies together with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain diverse talent.Advise and support the Plant Manager during meetings and interactions with the Works Council, in accordance with legal rules and regulations, to make sure that plant objectives are achieved, ensuring positive employee relations and constructive social dialogue. 
 

About You: 

You have a background in human resources, Business Administration or a related field with at least 7 years of experience or more.  Proven experience in a broad HR role within a production or technical environment.Solid knowledge of Dutch labor legislation and experience in collective labor agreement (CLA) negotiations.Strong communication skills with the ability to connect at all levels of the organization.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into action.Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
