Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is currently hiring our Management team for our Q1 2026 New Store Opening in Schaumburg, IL! Senior Manager Reports to: General Manager/Assistant General Managers POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior Manager oversees all operational areas, including Restaurant and Arcade, working closely with the General Manager. This role leads the development of managers and team members, directs facility repair and maintenance, and fosters a culture of ownership and accountability. AIKG locations feature high-speed, high-tech indoor Karting on multilevel tracks, multi-player immersive Virtual Reality Simulators, Arcade fun, and amazing restaurants & event spaces featuring scratch cocktails and culinary creations crafted in our kitchens. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with department leaders to oversee all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, training, employee relations, repair and maintenance, game operations, IT systems, cleanliness, organization, service timing, product quality, cash handling, and administrative functions Drive daily sales performance while effectively controlling costs, labor, and cash handling processes Collaborate with department managers to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused operations Champion a culture of safety and sanitation through consistent training and compliance monitoring. Take a proactive, hands-on approach to guest relations by engaging directly with guests on the floor Ensure the highest levels of product quality, service, and operational standards are consistently met Oversee every element of the guest experience, including product delivery, service timing, entertainment value, and overall satisfaction Empower managers and staff to consistently deliver exceptional guest service Lead the professional development of all site managers and Management-in-Training participants Maintain high morale and strong leadership presence across all teams Provide clear, direct, and constructive feedback to team members to drive performance improvement Develop and implement operational guidelines for effective recruitment, hiring, and staff retention Always support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games Motto “Striving for Perfection: Achieving Excellence” QUALIFICATIONS Required: Eligible to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Basic understanding of Marketing and Finance Energetic and guest-focused with a commitment to operational excellence Preferred: 2+ years of senior management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong financial acumen with proven ability to analyze data, assess performance, and drive profitability Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage teams at all levels Expertise in staff training, coaching, and professional development Solid understanding of cost control strategies and operational efficiency Benefits: Salary from $65,000 - $75,000 Exciting Bonus opportunities paid quarterly, up to $6,000 per year AIKG has the BEST staff, so managers work with and lead motivated professionals!
