Join us. **Job Description** AECOM's Transportation business line has a position available in Piscataway or Bloomfield, NJ for a Senior Civil Engineer with Highway Design experience. This candidate must be very familiar with NJTA and NJDOT design standards and will be responsible to lead a design team in the preparation of construction documents for transportation projects. Design work will include Conceptual Design, Preliminary Design, and Final Design. This is a hybrid-role requiring in-office presence 3 days/week. The individual in this role will be entrusted with critical responsibilities, including but not limited to: Responsibilities will include: + Produce roadway/transportation-related designs required for new or rehabilitation roadway projects + Attend client project meetings, participate in proposals/presentations, manage project tasks, manage projects, and meet with regulatory agencies + Project Engineering responsibilities related to project communication, schedule, budget and progress on various concurrent tasks + Assist in local marketing efforts, including proposal preparation and participation in professional societies. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus eight years of related experience an/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + NJDOT Professional Engineer (PE) license. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 10 years of relevant highway, interchange, and roadway design experience + Must demonstrate knowledge of NJTA and NJDOT Design Standards and Procedures, including perparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate Submission for agencies. + Proficient in MicroStation V8i software, Bentley OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation is not available now or in the future. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
