This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position based in Markham, Ontario, Canada.** Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. **Purpose:** The senior project coordinator, Health Economics & Market Access – Orthopaedics, will support the VELYS Enabling Tech Solutions and will work in close collaboration with the US & global business partners on various projects. The senior project coordinator will provide support in the planning & execution of global evidence generation studies, literature reviews, study summaries, and product claim generation. This position will support interactions with cross-functional business partners to drive key business goals and objectives. This position reports to the Director, Health Economics & Market Access and will work in close collaboration with multiple internal partners and stakeholders, including but not limited to Marketing, R&D, Clinical and Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs. **You will be responsible for:** With direction and leadership of the Health Economics & Market Access Director, this position will: + Run the overall project portfolio activities, assessing priority level and assuring that all assigned projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner. + Identify obstacles to project completion or gaps in the process and takes appropriate action to mitigate risks. + Support research activities for pipeline and launched products, such as planning & execution of global evidence generation studies, literature reviews, and study summaries. + Support the development of value tools including value dossiers and values analysis briefs, and dissemination initiatives to articulate the value of the VELYS Enabling Tech Solutions and orthopaedic surgery for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. + Ensure the project deliverables are tracked appropriately. Implement and manage an effective communication model for Health Economics & Market Access deliverables with cross-functional business partners. + Have medical writing capabilities to support the creation and updating of core scientific documents, including research technical reports, evidence synthesis reports, peer reviewed manuscripts and conference posters. + Work closely with Regional HEMA partners and multiple cross-functional partners, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Marketing, Professional Education, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal. + Manages processing of contracts, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders to cover project development with vendor partners. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** **Experience & Education:** + Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (University Degree) in a health sciences related field. + Minimum of 4 years project coordination, project management and/or related experience is required. **Knowledge, Skills and Competencies** : + Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, MHA, MBA) in health economics, outcomes research (HEOR) or healthcare-related field is preferred. + Experience in Medical Device/MedTech, Pharma or HEOR is preferred. + Ability to multi-task, work with minimal direction, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment is required. + The ability to work from strategy development through to execution and value creation in a dynamic global organization is required. + A collaborative attitude and ability to engage with multi-functional teams to provide input and influence decisions is required. + Effectively work in a matrix environment and demonstrate influence capabilities. + Experience working in decentralized and cross-functional business models. + Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; detailed, self-motivated and ability to work independently. + Up to 10% business travel may be required. **Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act** As guided by Our Credo (https://www.jnj.com/our-credo) Johnson & Johnson is responsible to our employees who work with us throughout the world.
