This role plays a vital part in ensuring industry-leading uptime and reliability for our cloud infrastructure, directly supporting our ability to deliver innovative solutions to global clients. You will work on advanced hardware platforms, lead troubleshooting efforts, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain peak performance in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. **Key Responsibilities** As part of our Deploy & Run team, you will: + Rack and stack servers and network gear + Maintain fiber and copper cabling infrastructure + Perform hardware swaps and break/fix activities (RMA, spare parts) + Provide smart hands support for remote engineering teams + Monitor environmental conditions and respond to incidents + Manage spares inventory using RFID systems + Execute change management and preventive maintenance programs + Ensure compliance with ISO, SOC, HIPAA and other industry standards + Conduct monthly audits and implement security best practices + Maintain and develop monitoring and automation tools + Perform Netbox data entry and infrastructure audits + Represent facility maintenance in change management processes **What You’ll Be Working On** + Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve failures in complex GPU-based servers (air and liquid-cooled) + Hardware Testing & Qualification: Support burn-in/stress testing and qualification of new hardware platforms + Vendor Management: Manage support tickets, coordinate with vendor personnel, and maintain hardware issue tracking + Inventory Management: Ensure accurate spares inventory and timely replenishment + Deployment Support: Assist with racking and cabling during infrastructure expansion + Documentation & Communication: Maintain detailed records and communicate effectively across teams + Physical Demands: Work in environments with sound, vibration, and thermal exposure; lift up to 60 lbs + On-Call Support: Provide occasional after-hours support for critical issues **Qualifications & Experience** + Server Hardware Expertise: Proven experience with GPU-based servers (air and liquid-cooled) + Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of server hardware, BMC manageability, BIOS settings, and firmware deployment + Data Centre Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a data center environment + Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with InfiniBand switches and network topology + Linux Skills: Basic system administration and command-line proficiency + Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities + Communication: Excellent organizational and time management skills + Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) technologies + Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA + Scripting experience (Python, Bash) + Familiarity with DCIM tools and cooling systems + Experience in fast-growing startup environments + Knowledge of cabling systems (fiber optic, copper, structured cabling) + Familiarity with Nvidia Smi and ipmi tool commands + Safety-oriented mindset and ability to work independently CBRE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer (Women/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans)
