Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Hardware Asset Analyst to lead and support the lifecycle management of hardware assets across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate tracking, governance, and optimization of IT hardware assets using ServiceNow and related platforms. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in improving asset visibility, compliance, and cost efficiency by working across IT, procurement, finance, and operations teams.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle management (from procurement through disposal) for enterprise IT assetsMaintain and validate asset records in the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) moduleDevelop and enforce policies and standards for asset tracking, inventory reconciliation, and data qualityCoordinate physical and automated inventory processes and audits across locationsMonitor asset compliance, contract expiration, and warranty status; identify discrepancies and remediation stepsAnalyze asset data to identify cost savings opportunities, underutilization, or surplusCollaborate with procurement and finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and vendor managementEnsure accurate linkage between asset records and CMDB configuration itemsSupport governance, reporting, and metrics related to asset management KPIs and SLAsAssist with platform upgrades, enhancements, and the implementation of new features or integrations

Mentor junior analysts and support training for asset custodians and stakeholders

 

Required Qualifications:4+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), specifically hardware asset lifecycle managementStrong experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management or similar platformsKnowledge of asset tagging, inventory management tools, and reconciliation processesFamiliarity with IT hardware categories including laptops, desktops, servers, peripherals, and mobile devicesExperience with data analysis, Excel reporting, and ServiceNow dashboardsUnderstanding of ITIL, asset lifecycle best practices, and compliance requirements

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or HAM Specialist certificationExperience integrating asset management with procurement, finance, or CMDB systemsFamiliarity with software asset management (SAM) is a plusExperience supporting audits, internal controls, or regulatory compliance initiatives

Exposure to enterprise vendor management and contract/license lifecycle support
