The Senior Growth Marketing Strategy Associate within the Customer Marketing team will own end‑to‑end marketing strategy for innovative payment solutions—Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and Installments—across consumer and business cards, including Chase Pay Over Time at Checkout and After Purchase. This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership, operating in a highly matrixed environment with frequent senior‑leader communications. Ideal candidates bring financial services experience, strong executive storytelling, and agency/creative leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
Own BNPL and Installments marketing strategy across the lifecycle (targeting, contact, messaging, and channel mix) to acquire new users and drive repeat usage.Translate strategy into action across channels; plan and execute trigger‑based, customer‑centric journeys across email, direct mail, in‑app/mobile, and digital.Lead the mobile‑app nudge strategy to deepen engagement and drive portfolio growth; establish best practices and ensure consistency and effectiveness across campaigns.Develop audience strategies, identify real‑time data attributes, and implement cloud‑based marketing campaigns; oversee execution from initiation through completion.Build and prioritize the test‑and‑learn roadmap; define hypotheses and measurement frameworks; socialize plans and results with GMs, Finance, and senior leadership.Create executive‑ready presentations and business updates; simplify complex topics with data‑driven narratives and clear recommendations.Partner with Analytics and Finance to define KPIs, measure impact, optimize CAC/LTV, and guide reinvestment.Manage creative development with internal teams and agencies; set briefs, guide concepting, and ensure high‑quality storytelling across brand and performance channels.Develop and maintain a 2–3-year target‑state plan with strategic objectives and milestones; track progress and drive continuous improvement.Ensure compliance and risk standards are embedded across all campaigns; proactively partner with Legal/Compliance for safe, timely launches.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
5+ years in lifecycle, growth, or product marketing; financial services, payments, lending, or card experience strongly preferred.Proven success operating and influencing in a large, highly matrixed organization; strong cross‑functional partnership with Product, Risk, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Tech, and Operations.Executive presence and exceptional communication skills; adept at crafting and delivering C‑suite‑caliber presentations and business cases.Hands‑on experience with enterprise CRM and cloud‑based orchestration; trigger‑based journeys, segmentation, and personalization.Disciplined test‑and‑learn approach (audience, offer, creative, channels) with fluency in funnel analytics and performance optimization.Demonstrated ability to independently manage timelines, prioritize initiatives, and deliver on commitments in a fast‑paced environment.Agency partnership and creative leadership experience from brief through production and delivery.

Deep familiarity with installments/BNPL, lending economics, underwriting considerations, and relevant regulatory landscape.Experience launching and scaling payments or lending features (e.g., at checkout and after‑purchase experiences) at enterprise scale.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
