Job Description

Senior Group Buyer shall perform assignments related to the direct procurement categories- negotiation and implementation of global/regional agreements. 

The role will be called on to run both global and local projects, so strong negotiation and communication skills are required. Buyer coordinates purchasing activities with stakeholders requests to achieve the result in a cost effective and timely manner. Acquires and maintains understanding of purchased products, where performs cost analysis, recommends cost saving proposals with alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria.

Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of relevant factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices but with a great amount of autonomy to determine appropriate action. Buyer will be a part of team working on building category strategy, so not only does analytical thinking is priority but visionary aspect is required as well. As a Senior Group Buyer, your daily responsibilities are:

Manage category scope and build strategy with Procurement Team.Lead sourcing processes and identify new suppliers.Develop and present procurement strategies to support project goals.Negotiate commercial terms and maintain supplier agreements.Prepare RFPs, draft contracts, and provide business recommendations.Drive procurement innovation and continuous improvement.Use tools like Coupa to manage procurement systems.Achieve KPIs and support procurement projects.

 

Qualifications

Personal skills

Proven negotiation record in global strategic procurement.Experienced in managing category scope and building strategy with Procurement Teams.Skilled in end-to-end sourcing, supplier identification, and contract drafting.Adept at developing procurement strategies to meet project goals on time and within budget.Strong background in handling multiple procurement projects under tight deadlines and changing requirements.Proficient in preparing RFPs, structuring specifications, and using tools like Coupa.Capable of managing commercial agreements and achieving KPIs.Analytical thinker with a focus on process optimization and risk mitigation.Experienced in multinational environments with independent entities.

Education

Bachelor or Master of business processes (Economy, Administration, Business, Finance), Engineering.
