Come find out for yourself what it's like to be a part of our journey. **We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future.** **\#WeAreWSP** **What you can expect to do here:** + You’ll work in a collaborative group environment with other groundwater modellers and hydrogeologists on complex and interesting projects. + You’ll be working with multi-disciplinary project teams to support large scale environmental impact assessments, operational water management plans and other projects that involve groundwater modelling and conceptualization studies. + You’ll be the technical lead for groundwater modelling and hydrogeology projects to support our clients in oil & gas, mining, aggregates, and other sectors. + You’ll have direct client interactions and will be involved in proposal writing and business development. + You’ll apply and supervise application of various groundwater modelling tools such as FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere and MODFLOW. + You’ll write or oversee the preparation of reports and will prepare presentations. + You’ll work with and mentor junior staff. + You’ll demonstrate a “Safety First” focus and acting as a role model to other staff. **What you’ll bring to WSP** + University degree (preferably MSc or PhD) in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Civil, Geological or Environmental Engineering with a specialization in groundwater modelling; candidates with other degrees having a strong analytical and quantitative skills such as physics or applied mathematics will also be considered. + More than 8 years of applied work experience. + Energy and passion for collaboration within a highly skilled team environment. + Experience with hydrogeological projects surrounding mining operations, such as aquifer depressurization and dewatering, injection and disposal, mine pit inflows and mine closure is an asset. + Experience with industry-standard numerical modelling packages (e.g., FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, MODFLOW, MIKE SHE) + Strong computer skills including working with GIS-type software, digital databases, visualization software (e.g., ArcGIS, Leapfrog, ParaView), etc. + Programming experience with Python and exposure to AI/machine learning is an asset. **WSP** is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
