We’re excited to share an opportunity for a Senior Groundwater Modeler to join our CDM Smith Boston team. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high‑impact groundwater modeling projects while collaborating with talented technical professionals and clients nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and support complex numerical groundwater modeling efforts, including flow and transport simulations.

Apply professional expertise in groundwater hydraulics and hydrology to support project objectives and technical decision‑making.

Utilize a range of modeling codes and platforms to develop, calibrate, and refine groundwater models.

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior staff, supporting skill development and best practices.

Collaborate with clients to understand project needs and clearly communicate modeling approaches and results.

Prepare technical documentation and white papers, and contribute to the firm’s Total Knowledge Management initiatives.

Review and approve modeling reports, ensuring technical quality and regulatory compliance.

Participate in conferences, symposia, and industry events to promote the firm’s groundwater modeling capabilities.
