Logan Health is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Grant Writer who is passionate about improving community health through the power of philanthropy and grant funding. As a Senior Grant Writer, you will play a key role in securing funding that directly supports patient care, community health programs, capital projects, and innovative initiatives across our health system. You’ll partner with clinical leaders, program teams, and community organizations to develop compelling proposals that make a measurable difference in the lives of those we serve.

What You’ll DoLead the research, writing, and submission of competitive grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies
Identify and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with Logan Health priorities
Collaborate with internal leaders and community partners to develop impactful funding proposals
Manage multiple grants and deadlines simultaneously, from concept through reporting
Build and maintain relationships with grantors and funding partners
Coordinate grant planning committees and cross-functional project teams
Track reporting requirements and ensure timely, accurate submissions
Partner with Finance to monitor grant budgets and reporting
Maintain grant records, compliance documentation, and required registrations
Support system-wide grant strategy and funding priorities
Stay current on healthcare funding trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities
Mentor/support grant staff and coordinate with the Grant Coordinator
What You Bring
Required experience:
5+ years grant writing in healthcare OR
7+ years grant writing in a nonprofit setting
Proven success securing foundation, corporate, or government grants
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Experience researching and developing grant opportunities
Preferred:
Healthcare or health-system grant experience
Knowledge of community health initiatives and funding trends
Experience with capital, programmatic, or system-level grants
