You’ll make an impact by:

Defining and implementing warehouse target processes from goods receipt to goods issue (including material putaway & retrieval, picking, packing, loading, internal transport, and interface processes to other departments)Defining performance characteristics to monitor and stabilize internal processes and deriving specifications to be met by external service providers and suppliersLeading projects with different technical competencies, creating cross-functional solution approaches, and evaluating them, including consideration of make-or-buy alternativesOperating and optimizing processes: Analyzing and evaluating warehouse performance based on KPIs and SAP data. Executing "Warehouse Assessments", supporting task force, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partnersEvaluating suitable automation and digitalization solutions and coordinating their implementation (e.g., artificial intelligence, digital twins, robotics, packaging machines)Defining and implementing holistic sustainability standards (internal/external) in the global warehouse networkCollaborating with colleagues from the Digital Industries Headquarters, partners at global locations, and SCM experts to challenge your skillsDriving change and managing transitions in logistics operations, including training and communication strategiesManaging logistical tenders in close cooperation with internal and external partners

EducationYou have a degree in industrial engineering or business administration focusing on logistics or a similar qualificationExperience & SkillsAs an SCM/Logistics expert, you possess reliable technical know-how to implement innovative solutions based on digitalization in the warehouse environmentHaving accrued many years of professional experience in logistics and warehousing, you have process know-how from goods receipt to shippingYou bring profound and long-term project management experience in designing and implementing processes and physical material flowsEquipped with methodological competence in process analysis, such as value stream mapping, you excel in this areaYour strong analytical mindset allows you to translate data insights into operational improvements with easeYou are knowledgeable in one or more of the following SAP tools: SD/MM/EWM/ARM/TMAdditionally, you have experience in leading cross-functional and multicultural teams, and managing stakeholders across global locationsYou possess expertise in the area of implementation of new warehouses worldwide and have experience in the tendering processFurthermore, you are well-versed in contract logistics and contract law, with experience in the warehouse environment, both operational and strategicPower BI or Celonis are Tools you have worked with, perhaps as a key userYou possess very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 package, with a focus on PowerPoint and ExcelWays of workingYou are characterized by a high ability to work in a team, motivation, enthusiasm, and a keen ability to learnWith excellent analytical skills, you also work in a results-oriented mannerIn addition, assertiveness, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel completes your profileLanguagesLastly, you are business fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
