What You Will Get To Do:

Cash and holdings reconciliations between core systems, custodian, prime broker and Investment ManagerInvestment accounting – including trade entry, securities and holdings data maintenanceFull NAV calculation – income and expense accrualsInvestor related processing – including subscriptions and redemptionsPrice file uploads including variance analysis and research utilizing Bloomberg terminalsGenerate daily and/or monthly client reportsProduce monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements including audit support, analytical review, research and resolution of discrepanciesManage relationships with clients and counterparties and handle queriesAssist with implementation of new clients and special projectsSystem release testing

What You Will Bring:

Post-secondary degree is required – Accounting or Finance preferredApplicants must possess mutual fund or investment accounting experience, preferably in hedge fundsMust have 2 – 3 years fund accounting experienceThorough understanding of investment products (exchange traded, derivatives and OTCs)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExposure to financial statements and notes is an asset
