Senior Fund Accountant
Description Summary: A prominent and long-standing venture capital firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant & Valuations individual to join its dynamic finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced fund accountant to work at the heart of the venture capital ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with finance leaders, investment partners, and external stakeholders, contributing to quarterly valuations, operational excellence, and investor transparency. Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics + CPA designation preferred + Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting (VC/PE clients) or in-house fund accounting + Strong working knowledge of ASC 946 and ASC 820 + Experience in close processes, fund audits, and investor reporting + Advanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Investran, Intacct, QuickBooks) a plus + Highly organized with strong communication, analytical, and mentoring abilities.
