Position Overview We are seeking a Fund Accounting & Valuations Lead individual to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and team leads in a collaborative, high-performance environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Valuations (ASC 820): + Prepare and document quarterly valuation analyses of portfolio companies. + Identify and support key assumptions and inputs in valuation models. + Communicate valuation results to auditors and the valuation committee. Fund Operations: + Assist in quarterly close processes, including financial and partner statements. + Support preparation of quarterly and annual audited financials. + Review capital call and distribution allocations. + Manage cash flow, reconciliations, and capital call planning. + Mentor and support associate fund accountants. + Respond to LP inquiries and manage financial communications. + Provide documentation and support for external audits. + Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvements. Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. + CPA preferred but not required. + 4+ years of experience in public audit (VC/PE clients) or in-house VC/PE fund accounting with strong valuation experience. + Proficiency in Excel modeling; experience with ERP systems such as Investran, Intacct, or QuickBooks is a plus. + Strong communication and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
