SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT – PRIVATE EQUITY & REAL ESTATE

LOCATION: LEUDELANGE, LUXEMBOURG

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

You’ll be working in the Alternative Funds - NAV Calculation team within the Fund Administration department in Luxembourg. Our team is in charge of the accuracy of the net asset value calculations and is responsible of all workflows related to these funds. We are working in close collaboration with external clients and third parties to service Private Equity, Real Estate, and Infrastructure products.
 

MAIN DUTIES
 

Ensure timely and accurate calculation of the Net Asset Value of the funds assignedPosting accounting entries and performing reconciliationsAct as main point of contact for your client portfolio, internal teams, and fund auditorsOversee the unaudited financial statements and annual reports of administered entitiesProvide assistance to complex NAV queries and problemsSupport management & team on various tasks and projectsMaking recommendations to improve processes for a more efficient serviceYear-end closings (control and review of accounts, closing of accounts)Participation in fund events (merger, liquidation and similar events)QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

You have:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance5 - 10 years of experience in Fund Accounting, with exposure to Private Equity and/or Real Estate being considered a plus but not essentialAn understanding of Lux GAAP and accounting principlesStrong technical, analytical skillsA good command of Microsoft ExcelThe ability to stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlinesGood team work and verbal and written communication skills
