Senior Functional Analyst – Oracle PPM Cloud
Position Description:

Within CGI's ERP Center of Expertise, you will primarily work as a senior Oracle ERP Cloud PPM functional analyst in a project-oriented environment: implementations, rollouts, functional upgrades, project management process optimization, and integrations. You will also contribute to application support (AMS) activities for certain clients in production. You will play a key role in the performance and governance of our clients' project portfolios, working with project teams, finance departments, and technical teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES – Projects (main focus)
- Participate in Oracle Fusion PPM implementation and deployment projects: workshops, analysis, design, configuration, testing, migration, training, and production launch.
- Configure and optimize PPM modules: Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Control, Grants Management, Project Execution Management, Project Performance Reporting.
- Carry out mini-projects and functional developments: automation of cost rules, configuration of billing methods, improvement of capitalization rules, optimization of budget monitoring.
- Produce functional documentation (BR100/AN.100, MD50), impact analyses, test scenarios, and collaborate with technical teams (OIC, cost allocation systems, time management platforms).
- Participate in go-live and hypercare activities, including post-deployment support and stabilization of PPM functionality.
- Support customers in their project-related processes: planning, budget monitoring, cost management, billing, revenue recognition, governance, and compliance.
- Contribute to integration projects: external timesheet systems, project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), billing systems, analytics solutions.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES – Support / AMS (additional)
- Provide Level 2 functional support for the Project Costing, Billing, Control, Grants, Budgetary Control, and Project Performance Reporting modules.
- Diagnose incidents, process change requests, and ensure operational continuity in project-related operations.
- Participate in Quarterly Updates: impact analysis, non-regression testing, UAT coordination.
- Collaborate with technical teams (OIC, BI Publisher, OTBI, security) to resolve complex issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in administration, finance, project management, accounting, or management information systems.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in functional analysis, including 3 years on Oracle ERP Cloud PPM in a project context.
- Solid knowledge of PPM modules: Project Costing, Billing, Control, Budgetary Control, Grants, Project Performance.
- Very good understanding of project management processes: planning, budgeting, cost allocation, billing, expense tracking, revenue management, capitalization.
- Proven experience in workshops, configuration, migrations (FBDI, ADFDI), test scenarios, and production of functional deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously: projects, developments, support.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingualism in French/English.
- Autonomy, rigor, functional leadership, and customer focus.
- Oracle PPM Cloud certification (an asset).

ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Knowledge of project methodologies (OUM, Agile).
- Experience with external project management or timesheet tools (Primavera, MS Project, Workforce, etc.).
- Familiarity with project-related financial standards: IFRS (capitalization), revenue recognition, audit compliance.
- Experience with PPM integrations: OIC, API, billing systems, analytics platforms, external financial or PMO solutions.
