What you'll be doing:
Conceptualizing and building awesome new features that our users will love. Taking the reins on key systems, ensuring they're stable, scalable, and always improving. Being a go-to person for resolving any production hiccups. Crafting clean, well-documented code that stands the test of time. Sharing your wisdom by mentoring and coaching junior and intermediate developers. Championing better engineering practices and tools. Turning user stories into exciting and functional realities. Living and breathing best practices in areas like availability, scalability, and cost efficiency. Potentially leading and contributing to significant projects, making a real impact.Do you have the magic touch?
You're fluent in both functional and OOP languages like PHP, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and React. Your code is a thing of beauty – clean, testable, and easy to maintain. You're a pro at debugging and troubleshooting even the trickiest issues. You're comfortable navigating the command line, especially in a Linux environment. Git and CI/CD pipelines are like second nature to you. You've dabbled with Docker or Kubernetes. You have a solid grasp of HTML/CSS and web application security. Experience with distributed and cloud environments (think AWS), microservices, Domain-Driven Design, RESTful services, and both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases is a huge plus! You're familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.Beyond the code, you are:
