What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior FP&A Analyst is to be a trusted resource and business partner to FP&A leadership the management team, and their assigned business function(s). The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by their functional leadership and executive leadership. The Senior FP&A Analyst may also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes. This role must be able to perform a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The FP&A Analyst should also have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner. The FP&A Analyst will also support company initiatives and M&A activities.

Responsibilities Reviews and analyzes financial statements and reportsSupport functional leader(s) as assigned with insight, forecasting and analysisTracks KPIs and prepares financial reportsAssists with budgeting and monthly close processesUnderstands key business driversAssists project teams with financial guidanceDevelops financial projections and build financial modelsPerforms research and analysis as requiredEnsures compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulationsBecomes a true business partner to Operations department leadership, helping them to understand and improve operational performanceOther related duties as assigned Qualifications Expert level Excel skills, ability to build reports and models that are scalable for a high-growth organizationAdvanced level understanding of financial statements and how they interact with each otherAdvanced level knowledge of budgeting/forecasting methodologies for sales, costs, and balance sheet metricsAbility to present financial information to a non-financial audienceStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsDetail-oriented and able to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeGood working knowledge of ERP systems and reporting/analysis packages like Power BI and OneStream What We’re Looking For Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, Master’s Degree preferred5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or FP&AExperience in private equity backed Company preferredExperience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations and decision frameworkExperience supporting M&A activities preferredProven track record of proactive actions to improve the business and support the management teamPrevious experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred Physical Requirements Continuously able to work in office environmentContinuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printerContinuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hoursAble to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the dayOccasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talkingOccasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouchingRarely requires climbingAbility to travel on occasion
