ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Forward Deployed Consultant (FDC) is the critical link between our powerful platform and our clients' most urgent operational challenges. This is not a traditional software consulting role; it is a hybrid that demands deep technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a relentless focus on client outcomes.

As a Senior FDE, you will embed directly with our clients—from C-suite executives to frontline operators—to understand their world, their data, and their problems. You will then design, build, and deploy robust, end-to-end solutions in our platform, creating insights that have an immediate and tangible impact. You are the trusted technical advisor, the hands-on implementer, and the owner of the client's success.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AT BEAMERY

Embed and Understand: Work on-site with clients to gain a deep understanding of their operational workflows, data ecosystems, and strategic objectives. You will translate ambiguous, high-level business problems into concrete technical requirements.

Design & Architect: Architect scalable and resilient data models and integration pipelines. You will be responsible for the technical blueprint that turns messy, real-world data into a coherent, queryable asset.

Build & Implement: work within Beamery products and leveraging our APIs create data pipelines that resolve client’s identified business pains, and design visualizations and views that allow customers to make high-ROI decisions.

Lead and Mentor: As a senior member of the team, you will lead complex project workstreams, manage senior client stakeholder relationships, and mentor CSMs, SCs, and BDRs. You will be a standard-bearer for technical excellence and creative problem-solving, and a force multiplier for our GTM function.

Innovate the Platform: Channel your on-the-ground insights back to our core product and engineering teams, helping to drive the future direction of our platform based on real-world use cases, working directly with our product and engineering leadership.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent real-world experience.

3-5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role, such as software engineering, data engineering, technical consulting, or data science. Strong programming proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go). Top-tier consulting experience preferred with technical expertise.

Proven ability to deconstruct complex, unstructured problems and design elegant, technical solutions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven track record of exhibiting significant ownership and autonomy in executing programs and initiatives.

Ability and interest to travel up to 50%, as needed to client sites, but flexible based on personal preferences.
