We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** If you are a **Sr Fire Alarm and Life Safety Engineer** looking to be challenged and join an amazing team, Parsons may be the place for you! Come and join Parsons in support of Rail and Transit Design Projects and be challenged! **Qualifications:** + 15+ years of experience in the Fire Alarm industry + Minimum - Current NICET II Certification + Demonstrated expertise with Fire Alarm Systems Design + Capability to Integrate new components into existing Alarm and Detection systems, Suppression Systems, and Mass Notification Systems. + Be knowledgeable of NFPA Codes and the Unified Facility Criteria (UFC’s) pertaining to Life Safety and be able insure compliance of the system, address engineering inquiries, and support the inspection team in resolution of problems. + Ability to read and interpret statements of work, specifications, and design drawings. + Microsoft Office experience and computer proficiency required + Must be able to repetitively lift 35 pounds + Must be willing to work overtime when required + Valid driver license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check required + Must be able to meet customer security requirements (moderate to high risk) **Education Requirements:** + High School Diploma or GED required + Bachelor's Degree in related field **Preferred/Desired Skills:** + Construction, safety, and qualitytraining/certificationsa plus + AutoCAD, Microstation **Security Clearance Requirement:** None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
