ActivitiesThe Senior Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for forecasting, planning, and preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, as well as analyzing and communicating results to the management of TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc. (“TGPNA”). This role also serves as a key point of contact for TGPNA on financial and reporting matters. The role is responsible for managing the budgeting process and long‑term planning for TGPNA, while also ensuring complete, accurate, and timely reporting of all relevant activities. This includes clearly communicating financial results to the Finance and Trading teams to support effective decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly management reporting process (Day +4), including flash results, Essbase reporting, financial statement analysis, and ad‑hoc reporting for management teams in Geneva and Paris.Prepare and submit quarterly IFRS reporting packages (Day +6), including income statements, balance sheets, and required appendices for TGPNA, ensuring accurate validation and submission to both TotalEnergies SE (CAP) and TotalEnergies Holdings USA.Support the Financial Controller with working‑capital analysis and respond to analytical requests from Group.Work closely with internal teams and GRP Branch technical resources to provide financial reporting and technical accounting support, ensuring proper accounting treatments aligned with IFRS and Group reporting guidelines (including transaction analyses and accounting memorandums).Oversee the coordination of TGPNA’s budgeting and long‑term planning processes, including template preparation, financial modeling, and development of management presentations.Contribute to finance process improvements and help strengthen TGPNA’s financial control framework.Assist the Financial Controller with various projects and ad‑hoc requests as needed. Candidate Profile Undergraduate degree in accounting required.Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.Experience with international accounting and reporting topics preferred.Familiarity with capital‑intensive project development or energy trading is a plus.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with motivation to work in an international environment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
