Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a team player, who would like to join our team as a:

Senior Financial Controller for E-mobility in Global Functional Groups Controlling Team

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia 

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided) 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

Control & Analysis of full P&L for E-mobility category - ensuring accurate inventory accounting and correct revenue recognition, etc.

E-mobility KPI reporting

Ensure accurate and timely management accounting and reporting for Global E-mobility functional group, including variance analysis vs business plan and comments on performance (OPEX analysis, CAPEX spend, FTE reporting etc.)

Active involvement in implementation of new projects

Participate in Business Plan process and facilitate the preparation of OPEX budget

Partner with global FP&A team in providing financial information to various stakeholders (functional group leaders, corporate team and others)

Manage operational issues, resolve management reporting discrepancies and irregularities faced in management accounting and reporting area

Drive best practice and process consistency both, within the systems and in connected processes. 

Ensure compliance of internal controls in accordance with the Group’s guidelines

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

Solid experience (3+ years) in Controlling, Accounting, Audit or similar field, preferably within an international work environment

University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or similar. Accounting specialization is preferred

Fluent English language skills (oral and writing) to communicate with colleagues in Europe and North America

Strong communication skills with a proven ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a simple, meaningful fashion 

Strong analytical skills

Understanding of general accounting principles

Good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel) and general understanding of ERP systems

Ability to work in a changing environment

ACCA certificate or started ACCA studies is considered as an asset
