Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as:

Senior Financial Controller – Treasury & Forex Analysis (CKETS)

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop and implement daily routines, controls, and reporting mechanisms to proof check daily Forex position, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business events to minimize foreign exchange differences.Work closely with other departments, including Treasury, Accounting, and Trading, to build reports, information channels and facilitate alignment between stakeholders.Monitor and analyze realized and unrealized Forex gains and losses, providing detailed reports and explanations on weekly/ monthly basis.Identify the underlying factors contributing to Forex performance variances and report to Finance, Trading Organization and Treasury. Implement necessary changes in business processes or data flows, if necessaryEstablish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of FX hedges.Collaborate with the Treasury and be Point of Contact to their inquiries.Create and document processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, aligning with best practices and industry standards.Work closely with the accounting and trading teams to ensure that Forex positions are correctly reflected in the financial statements.Monitor the effectiveness of hedging activities and provide regular updates to senior management.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g. ACCA) is a plus.Experience as an Auditor, Financial Controller, Treasury Manager, or in a similar role within a multicurrency environment.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting software.Decent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in English to communicate with colleagues in Europe and America.
