The Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Financial Compliance Manager, the Senior Financial Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) standard controls, particularly regarding control documentation. This role requires alignment with the Global Business Process Managers/Owners (GBPM/Os) within compliance tools such as BWISE.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure ICFR and SoD control requirements are met and aligned using compliance tools like BWISE.
Communicate control changes with GBPM/Os and ensure necessary modifications by the Americas SSC Compliance team.
Maintain the Control Task List for supported affiliates.
Lead Annual Affiliate Feedback Sessions for improvement ideas and additional support needs.
Support the yearly CSA process, ensuring questionnaire completion and monitoring progress.
Provide guidance on SoD, develop action plans to mitigate risks, and deliver SoD/Access services correctly.
Assist in internal and external audits, including sample compilation and logistics.
Train and guide new team members, and lead or support compliance improvement projects.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
3-5 years of audit and internal controls experience including Segregation of Duties preferred
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices GAAP or IAS and auditing.
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.
SAP knowledge is a must.
Proven analytical and reporting skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influence and lead both with and without authority.
Fluency in written and spoken English, Portuguese and Spanish.
MBA or CPA certification preferred
