Position SummaryThe Commercial Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Surgical business unit (BU). In this role, you will provide financial and analytical guidance in support of strategic and tactical BU goals. The position will work cross-functionally with key Surgical BU stakeholders while providing financial analysis and decision-making support for initiatives across the business. Success in this role requires analytical and communication skills as well as a skillful approach to collaboration and business partnering.
Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting and reviews, providing business insights, and ad hoc analysis.
This position will be based in Morrisville, NC.

• Prepare and analyze monthly SBU results, including communication of variance versus forecast and budget.
• Participate in the forecasting and budgeting processes, including coordinating with department heads to make updates as needed.
• Ad hoc support and analysis of business issues for Surgical SBU business partners as well as the VP Finance, Surgical.
• Provide basic financial insights to business growth trends and profitability. Ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained and SBU financial statements are following corporate accounting policies and standards.
• Collaborate and cooperate with other Teleflex departments to achieve objectives.
• Research and analyze data to provide a clear, cohesive explanation of business drivers
• Prioritize tasks to achieve deadlines and be curious with a passion for efficiency.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Teleflex Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, and procedures.
• Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting required.
• Minimum of three years in a Finance position.
• Experience with SAP, BW, Power BI, HFM, and PBCS preferred.
• Self-starter with strong business acumen, organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to take initiative to seek out solutions with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated aptitude working with large volumes of data and analyzing trends.
• Proven analytical background in budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to communicate data findings to various levels within the organization; ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-financial audiences.
• Robust understanding of the Income Statement.
• Capacity to interface with senior executive staff and develop appropriate ad hoc reports as requested.
• Prominent level of competency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Modeling, etc.).
