We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to lead revenue forecasting, run rate analysis, and support data driven decision-making across the organization. This role will be instrumental in partnering with Sales to align financial forecasts with booking targets, understand quota structures, and evaluate sales initiatives.
Additionally, this role will collaborate with Client Success to analyze client retention, expansion opportunities, and renewal forecasts, helping to drive improvements in net revenue retention and customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, strategic mindset, and a proactive approach to cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Build and improve revenue forecasts and run rate models using past performance, sales pipeline data, and key business trends to help strategic decision-making Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Partner closely with Sales leadership and Sales Operations to align financial forecasts with booking targets, pipeline trends, and strategic sales initiatives, ensuring strong collaboration and shared accountability for revenue performance Work closely with Client Success to understand client retention trends, expansion opportunities, monthly revenue variances, and other key drivers that impact overall account health and recurring revenue Evaluate total contract value (TCV), customer acquisition costs (CAC), and volume assessments to support strategic decision-making and revenue optimization Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions Identify trends and risks in revenue performance and recommend mitigation strategies Play a key role in preparing monthly financial reports, quarterly board presentations, and other high-impact materials for leadership Identify and implement automation opportunities across reporting, forecasting, and data analysis processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effortQualifications
5+ years of experience with financial analysis Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent work experience Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and their application in forecasting and financial reporting Highly analytical, focused on strategic thinking Consistently provides clear communication Strong problem solver, not only focused on completing tasks Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions Excellent organizational and time management skills Meticulous attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that encourages innovation and adaptability Boundless curiosity with excitement in taking on new challenges Understanding of SaaS based businesses, preferred Experience with business partnerships at executive levels, preferred Familiarity with risk management and opportunity analysis, preferredFor Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC.
