What is the opportunity?
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide strong support to the Finance team and our business partners in Bahamas, Canada and United States of America through analysis, reporting and processing of financial information. Primary responsibility will be for our Barbados and Bahamas operations and assist in other areas as may be required from time to time.
What will you do?
Monthly posting of journal entries for P&L and Balance Sheet for all trading books and activitiesDaily P&L reconciliations by product line and business unitReconciliation and monitoring of payable/receivable accounts for all financing activities and verifying that payments and receipts of interest/fees equate to booked accrualsMonthly P&L and Balance Sheet attestationsDaily reconciliation, allocations and posting of assets and liabilities related to businessesMonthly and quarterly regulatory reporting to various regulatorsQuarterly and yearly disclosures and reporting for head office consolidated reportingKeep informed of changes in accounting and regulatory standards and key business drivers impacting businessesWhat do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Undergraduate degree in AccountingStrong interpersonal, communications, analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office applications with extensive experience in Excel analytical toolsWhat's in it for you?
