Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will continuously evaluate current reports, data, trends, and results to identify and implement improvement initiatives. Your role involves streamlining existing processes and enhancing automation through better system utilization. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of a consolidated data package integrating all Portfolio Finance segments. Additionally, you will support high-level analysis, including concept development and trend identification, while providing explanations and understanding the intricacies of portfolio performance.
Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between Portfolio Services and other departments such as FP&A, Accounting, TAX, and SEC group.Ensure proper prioritization, consistent communication, accurate specifications/documentation, budgetary management, and timely delivery of end products/services.Manage different aspects of forecasts involving cash flow and P&L items related to the mortgage portfolio.Handle multiple projects in various settings with minimal direction from the manager.Provide business overviews to management through meetings and presentations.Support the preparation of the annual budget for the mortgage portfolio and monthly forecast updates, including analysis of variances.Provide portfolio forecasts related to 10-Year Plans.Ensure all training materials are updated promptly.Assist Portfolio Finance Management with any reasonable requests.Provide support for special projects as requested by Senior leadership.Essential Skills
Minimum of 4 years of related experience.B.A. degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or relevant studies preferred.Financial analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting skills.Experience with product performance analysis and optimization.Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel (including modeling/analysis, charts, etc.), PowerPoint (including charts).Advanced Excel modeling skills.Technical experience with SQL and querying data.Experience with data mining, data validation, and consolidation analysis.Ability to conduct profit and loss analysis and SEC reporting.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Cognos Analytics is a plus.Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are desirable.Ability to lead projects across multiple departments.Ability to analyze data and understand complex systems and processes.Excellent presentation skills to Senior management and executives.Work Environment
This position offers a flexible work schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. During different seasons, such as budget and SEC filing periods, there may be one additional day required on-site. While this role is structured as an FMLA leave coverage, there is an opportunity to transition into a permanent position but not 100%, providing a great opportunity to get your foot in the door.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.27 - $48.08/hr.
