Philip Morris KSA Trading Company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance. This position will be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Senior Finance Analyst plays a critical role in managing overhead budgets, supporting financial governance, overseeing vendor and invoice processes, and strengthening working capital performance. The role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence, while also contributing to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY‘
Lead the annual overhead budget planning process in close collaboration with all department heads, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial targets. Monitor actual spending versus budget throughout the year and manage revisions across each forecast cycle by analyzing variances, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions.Support stock management and financial flows, ensuring accurate documentation and full compliance with all applicable tax regulations.Lead the end‑to‑end invoice processing cycle by maintaining clear, proactive communication with vendors, ensuring timely invoice submission, issue resolution, and alignment on purchase orders, tax requirements, and payment timelines.Participate in regular Balance Sheet reviews, analyze key working‑capital components, and propose actionable measures to improve cash flow.Assist in preparing management reports, dashboards, and presentations.Identify, design, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, increase automation, and drive operational excellenceWHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
KSA National Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field. Minimum 05 years of experience in finance/FP&A, ideally in a finance business partner or financial analyst role preferably within FMCG sectorProfessional certifications or progress toward CMA/ACCA/CPA is an advantageFluent English & Arabic (Written & Spoken)Strong mastery of budgeting and forecasting frameworks, cost control, and expense allocation methodology. Skilled in variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) with clear narrative and data interpretation. Good understanding of tax requirements related to invoicing, documentation, and compliance. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar) and PO/invoice systems. Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to translate numbers into insights. Proactive and solution‑oriented, able to independently identify issues and propose corrective actions. Effective communicator who can collaborate with department heads and maintain clear communication with vendors. Comfortable working in dynamic, fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities and tight timelines with strong sense of ownership & accountability
