Senior Financial Analyst
Job Title: Senior Financial AnalystJob Description

A global leader in life sciences is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This role provides timely, accurate financial insights to support data-driven decision-making and optimize spending across support functions. The cost accountant will provide financial review and analytical support across designated business units or functional areas, playing a critical role in delivering strategic planning insights.

ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary financial partner for operations, evaluating the cost impact of changes in manufacturing processes.Collaborate with Supply Chain to analyze inventory variances and develop strategies to meet financial targets.Support monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis and performance reporting.Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial projections.Provide financial support for daily operations and ad hoc business initiatives.Maintain and enhance financial systems used for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Support the evaluation and management of capital expenditure projects.Prepare ad hoc reports and perform special assignments as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in cost accounting, Excel, ERP systems, and cost analysis.Experience in forecasting, variance analysis, and inventory management.Strong accounting skills including financial statement analysis, balance sheet, and general ledger management.Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and standard cost analysis.Strong understanding of GAAP, inventory accounting, and audit processes.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including cost accounting.Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment.CMA certification is highly preferred.Experience with large ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.Advanced skills in Excel, including Vlookup and Pivot Tables.Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.High attention to detail and accuracy.Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Work Environment

The position is onsite Monday to Friday, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with 4 days a week in the office and 1 work-from-home day. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, featuring a small, tight-knit team committed to mutual support. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $48.07/hr.
