About this RoleThe Sr Financial Analyst at IFS Infrasource will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Dept with a variety of financial activities including weekly/monthly reporting, forecasting, building financial models, supporting month end close process, as well as ad hoc reporting as needed. A strong background in Excel is required and strong interpersonal skills will be needed as this role will interact with all levels within the organization. This is an in-office position (King of Prussia, PA). Some travel required (<10%).
What You'll Do Reports to Senior Manager, FP&AAssist the FP&A Managers prepare and distribute weekly/monthly financial reports that summarize and forecast the Division's business activity and financial results Prepare and evaluate analysis based on contract performance and Divisional operating resultsAct as back up to the FP&A Managers when neededIn coordination with the FP&A team, this position is responsible for adherence to the company’s accounting principles, procedures, practices, reporting and compliance requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAPAssist the FP&A Managers with the month-end close process by preparing any needed reporting or reconciliationsHelp ensure proper revenue recognition for the DivisionReview operating expenses and provide recommendations to management on ideas for cost reductionsSupport the preparation and evaluation of budgets, forecasts and other financial operating reportsPerforming research and analysis as requiredOther duties as assigned What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance2-3 years+ of corporate finance experienceConstruction industry experience a plusExperience with Spectrum or other enterprise accounting software a plusMust have the ability to research and analyze various financial data and have a solid understanding of accounting principlesEffective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and be computer literateProficient in Microsoft Excel – ability to work with pivot tables, formulas such as V-lookupsOrganized, detail oriented with reconciliation skillsMust have the ability to work independently and prioritize duties as well as on team projects What You'll Get Paid on-the-job technical and professional trainingDefined career path for future growthCompetitive wages and industry-leading benefits including Retirement PlanThis position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
