**The Opportunity**
Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. Our extensive portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, bare metal stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices and peripheral stents.
Our **Westford, Massachusetts** location is currently seeking a **Senior Financial Analyst** for the R&D and manufacturing center of excellence for Vascular’s growing Imaging and Physiology businesses. The **Senior Financial Analyst** is responsible for providing cost planning, analysis, and reporting to Westford site leadership to meet targeted deliverables, as well as make recommendations to reduce costs, scale for the future, and meet regulatory compliance.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Monitor the Financial & Operational performance for the Westford manufacturing location, comparing the Plan and LBE vs Actual results for different cost centers and GL accounts, analyze spending trends of different accounts, and suggest actions to optimize results.
+ Partner with manufacturing, engineering and other support functions in the preparation of Annual Operation Plan and LBEs for the manufacturing site.
+ Prepare various report submissions from Operations and verify accuracy and reasonableness and submit to the site Leadership Team and HQ Finance.
+ Develop reports, dashboards, key performance indicators, etc as required, and act as the Subject Matter Expert related site financial performance.
+ Manage Dodeca system data, including uploading and retrieving data in the system, and reconciling the Dodeca system data with other ERP system data to ensure data accuracy.
+ Monitor, track and reconcile various balance sheet accounts, including Fixed Assets, Accruals, etc.
+ Create reports / dashboard with financial information for the Operating teams considering business partner requirements
+ Create tools to monitor and track the COGS, and analyze trends and comparisons vs other benchmarks.
+ Act as finance leader and support cost reduction initiatives that will drive sustainable growth for the Westford site.
+ The Senior level Financial Analyst executes many of the same activities as the Experienced level.
+ In addition, the Senior level will also typically: possess well developed knowledge and skills to interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations to senior management.
+ Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects.
+ Develop analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyze the company's short, medium, and long term position.
+ Prepare in-depth evaluations of plans and identify new methods of analysis and presentation.
+ Data collected and analysed include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, inflation, interest rates and exchange rates.
+ Ability to form partnerships with Div HQ, cross functional partners, and regional contacts required
+ Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels required
+ Experience working in a matrix organization
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related OR an Associates Degree plus Minimum 4+ years progressive experience
**Preferred**
+ Advanced Degree preferred
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
+ Familiarity with Essbase, Dodeca, SAP, or HFM preferred.
+ CPA, CMA, or CPIM designation or equivalent.
+ Ability to work effectively under uncertainties and flexibility to meet changing priorities in a proactive manner
+ Strong results orientation and bias for action including a high degree of initiative and self-motivation in understanding business needs and leading others to meet those needs

The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
